Hi everyone! New here, but an old fart otherwise.
I wanted to say, regarding 64 bit -vs- 32 bit compatibility right now, is that, in general, you should probably just get and use a 32 bit version of passive apps like this anyway. I've seen posted in a few other places, that TS3 (and accompanying plugins/apps) should normally be very light on system resource usage and therefore doesn't really benefit from the added resources made available in a 64 bit environment.
Obviously, if you make the switch to a 64 bit OS (as most people are these days), then it would seem to make sense to want to get as many of your apps in their 64 bit flavor, but for most it's simply not necessary. As most also probably know, if you get a 32 bit version of anything and want to install it into your 64 bit OS you'll need to put it in the
c:/program files (x86) area instead of the standard
c:/program files area.
Anyway, I am very pleased there is already an overlay solution in the works for TS3. I've gotten so spoiled over the years using the excellent TSO program that I was reluctant to make any sweeping migration to TS3...until now.
S!
